What You'll Do.
Support end-user hardware and software (Windows
Participate in the support of Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows server infrastructure
Support regulated and customer-sponsored computing environments
including environments subject to security clearance
Assist in administering device management systems (Active Directory
Provide support for virtual infrastructure (VMware)
cloud-computing services (AWS)
and various cloud service providers
Maintain backup infrastructure (Veeam)
Make recommendations on new system purchases (end-user and infrastructure)
Maintain documentation in support of new technologies and applications

## Description As a Systems Administrator at Kitware, you will play a vital role on the Systems Administration team, working closely with teammates in supporting critical infrastructure used by Kitware's research and development engineers and support staff across a diverse range of projects. ## In This Position You Will Support end-user hardware and software (Windows, Linux, macOS) Participate in the support of Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows server infrastructure Support regulated and customer-sponsored computing environments, including environments subject to security clearance, as needed Assist in administering device management systems (Active Directory, JAMF, Puppet) Provide support for virtual infrastructure (VMware), cloud-computing services (AWS), and various cloud service providers Maintain backup infrastructure (Veeam) Configure networking, including firewalls, wireless networks, VPN tunnels, and VLANs Make recommendations on new system purchases (end-user and infrastructure) Maintain documentation in support of new technologies and applications ## Required Qualifications Due to contractual requirements, U.S. citizenship is required, along with the willingness and ability to obtain, use, and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph Bachelor's or associate's degree in an IT-related field, with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent amount of education and experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Security+ or willingness to successfully obtain required certifications ## Preferred Qualifications Experience with Linux system administration and Active Directory management Experience working alongside software development teams Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks ## Additional Information Company Description: Kitware is a research and development software solutions provider with a mission to advance science, make a positive impact, and share our results all within a collaborative, empl
