What You'll Do.
Effective provisioning
installation/configuration
and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
Technical research and development for infrastructure innovation
Ensuring system hardware
and related procedures adhere to organizational goals and objectives
Providing excellent support for local and remote users
including white glove service for company executives
Performing daily system monitoring
verifying the integrity and availability of all systems and conference room hardware
Configuring and installing operating systems consistent with Hunter Douglas standards to provide a secure computing environment
Ensuring that utilities designed to automate and maintain computer systems are operational
Managing and maintaining end-user access to systems
and desktop/laptop computers in a prompt and effective manner
Escalating and troubleshooting with Operations and Systems groups
Evaluating and coordinating cabling vendors
Managing service requests submitted by the users in a prompt and effective manner
Monitoring and prioritizing requests that may include ticket re-assignment
Working with all IT groups to improve and enhance customer support including Operations and the Helpdesk
Propagating Hunter Douglas infrastructure standards to other Hunter Douglas locations by working with remote system administrators
Sharing and helping all locations meet a common computing environment
Effectively and routinely following up on tasks
