Full Job Description
****Job Description:**** An opportunity for a **System Safety Engineer** has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Aircraft Development Safety Team. The team is multicultural, multidisciplinary, and offers a 360-degree view of the aircraft development process. You will work closely with Design Offices, Chief Engineering, System Suppliers, and Airworthiness Authorities. The jobholder will reinforce our team to ensure that Airbus military products are designed, developed, and certified according to the highest safety and airworthiness standards. **RESPONSIBILITIES** The main tasks of the jobholder will be: * **Perform System Safety Assessment (SSA)** activities for military aircraft systems from development phases until final certification. * **Identify and classify failure conditions** by conducting systematic examinations of system functions based on their severity. * **Establish System Safety requirements** and perform preliminary evaluations to ensure the proposed architecture meets safety objectives. * **Generate technical evidence** to demonstrate compliance with required safety standards in front of Airworthiness Authorities. * **Conduct safety analyses** including Common-Cause (Particular Risk, Zonal, and Common Mode) and Continuous Airworthiness Risk Analyses. * **Manage supplier data** and safety requirements at the interface of interacting systems, hardware, software, and technical domains. **SKILLS** Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
