Eligibility Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, Occasional bending, stooping, or reaching when reviewing plans or inspecting job sites, Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain, ladders, and partially constructed areas, Sufficient vision and hearing to review detailed drawings, communicate effectively, and identify safety hazards, Regular use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment, Ability to travel to multiple job sites and client locations as required, Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

3+ years of experience in electrical protection systems design, testing, or implementation, Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Proficiency with design and project management tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, or MS Project, understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, etc. ), Excellent written and verbal communication skills, technical writing and documentation skills, Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

Nice to Have

PE license or ability to obtain one is a plus

What You'll Do.

Lead the electrical design of system protection and control projects

Design and develop communication systems

Develop one‑line diagrams

and interconnection strategies

Create protective device and communication device setting files

and maintain technical documentation

Ensure all system designs meet applicable codes and standards

and interpret sequence‑of‑events data for system trips or anomalies

Develop standards and processes for regulatory compliance reviews

Create testing and commissioning procedures for regulatory requirements such as NERC PRC‑005

and maintain compliance documentation

Lead and support protection and control commissioning projects

Support testing and maintenance activities

Design test plans and technical specifications for testing and commissioning work
