Full Job Description
**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!** # Responsibilities: * Planning, design, and operation of modern IT network and infrastructure components (LAN, WLAN, WAN, firewalls – on-premises & cloud-based) * Administration and further development of global network architectures in a complex, international IT environment * Participation in international IT projects – from technical conception and administrative support to operational implementation * Ensuring network availability and security through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization * Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners to implement infrastructure projects * Contribution to the definition and implementation of global IT standards as well as participation in corporate-wide committees (e.g. security policies, network structures) * Documentation and continuous improvement of deployed systems and processes # Qualifications: * Several years of practical experience in the design, operation, and optimization of complex network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN) * In-depth technical knowledge of IP networks, switching (L2/L3), VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) * Hands-on experience with Azure networking, WAN acceleration, and SD-WAN * Experience working with Cisco technologies and firewalls (e.g. Azure, CATO) * Good knowledge of infrastructure core services such as DNS, DHCP, and ideally NTP * Structured, self-reliant working style and a high level of customer orientation * Willingness to travel internationally and enthusiasm for working in intercultural teams * Excellent English and good German skills (at least C1) in both spoken and written form The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
