Must be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments, Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain required clearances/badges, Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, Work typical of an office environment, Occasional lifting to 20 lbs, Constant sitting with use of computer, Constant use of sight abilities, Constant use of speech/hearing abilities, Constant mental application, Must possess planning/organizing skills, Must be able to work under deadlines, Field work will consist primarily of site walk downs, Site hazard training and Personal Protective Equipment are provided, Comply with all applicable safety and health-related rules, regulations, and procedures, Work safely themselves and help their teammates work safely, Assist supervisors and managers in identifying and mitigating potentially hazardous conditions, Help the organization maintain a safe and healthy workplace
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, 5+ years’ experience in engineering discipline, Knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position, Capable of using spreadsheets, word processing and standard Microsoft Office software, Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals, Ability to read and understand schematics & blueprints, ability to use data and analysis to make fast data-driven decisions, Ability to exercise sound judgement and reason, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization, Must be a U.S. citizen, Must have the ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written in an effective manner, Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

Perform engineering assignments
Support project development
Support design changes
Develop maintenance work steps
Provide technical guidance
Stay up to date with emerging technologies
Revise asset information in Maximo
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules
Address and justify PM deferrals
Propose improvement plans
Support shop technicians
Provide technical expertise for anomalies
Resolve and document failure anomalies
Prepare Technical Anomaly reports
Coordinate mission activities
Develop launch site test plans
Participate in console operations
Participate in Red Crew operations
Provide input to SHARP teams
Present mission related presentations
Perform readiness assessments
Coordinate with requesters and customers
Interface with internal and external customers
Support development of technical proposals
Develop task order requirements
Coordinate with CAD drafters
Interpret and provide guidance using drawings
Develop technical documentation
Verify engineering documentation standards
Analyze engineering problems
Assess systems for upgrades
Provide mentorship to engineers
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with requesters, customers, other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines; Direct interface and liaison with internal and external customers; Coordinate and communicate effectively with CAD drafters, Design Engineers, or shop personnel; Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers; Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
Communication Scope
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees; Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written in an effective manner
