What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, 8+ years of progressive, related experience in systems engineering or software development for scientific/engineering applications, Proven ability to lead complex system design and integration efforts, understanding of Software Design Life Cycle, configuration management, and quality assurance principles
Nice to Have
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, AWS Solutions Architect or similar certification, Agile software methodology experience, Experience with hybrid-cloud architectures and containerization, Knowledge of image processing, database management, and software development, Ability to conduct trade studies for technology upgrades, cloud services, and software updates, Previous experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders, both domestic and international
