System Engineer **Description -** HP Indigo develops and manufactures some of the most advanced digital printing systems in the world—large‑scale, high‑performance machines that integrate precision mechanics, advanced electronics, sophisticated software, materials science, and complex process control. We are looking for a **Systems Engineer** to join our multidisciplinary R&D organization and play a key role in the definition, development, and integration of complex industrial systems. In this role, you will be involved throughout the full product lifecycle—from requirements and system architecture, through integration and validation, and into deployment and manufacturing. As a Systems Engineer, you will serve as the **technical integrator** across engineering disciplines, leading system‑level thinking and ensuring that the complete solution meets performance, reliability, quality, and cost targets. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for an engineer who enjoys working on real, complex products, making critical design decisions, and shaping how advanced systems are built. **Key Responsibilities** * Translate product requirements into **system-level specifications and technical requirements**. * Decompose system requirements into subsystem requirements and ensure alignment across engineering teams. * Develop system concepts, trade-off analyses, and performance models. * Act as the **technical interface between hardware, software, mechanics, and electronics**. * Ensure seamless integration between subsystems and manage interface definitions. * Lead technical discussions across R&D disciplines to resolve system-level challenges. * Develop **verification and validation plans** to ensure system performance and reliability. * Participate in design reviews and technical risk assessments. * Analyze system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues. * Lead root-cause analysis and implement system-level improvements. * Support manufacturing, service, and field tea
