Gunvor has more than 1,500 employees and it maintains offices in Geneva, Singapore, London, Istanbul, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Dubai, Houston, and Tallinn with new offices planned in strategically relevant markets. **Summary of the Role** The System Engineer will be based at Gunvor’s office in Istanbul or in London (with a hybrid work setup) and reports to the System Engineer Team Lead. The System Engineer is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure globally. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling out the solutions.
