The Director establishes, directs and monitors strategic initiatives to ensure the Nutrition Services program is operational and continually improving; ensures interdependent business units are cost-effective, competitive and relevant to their market(s); provides subject matter expertise on Nutrition Services; establishes strategies, key metrics, customer service excellence standards, and service level agreements; monitors program performance and performance improvement activities; ensures continual survey and regulatory readiness/compliance; assures a highly reliable and safe Nutrition Services program is planned and maintained; creates and establishes policies and standard operating procedures/protocols in accordance with national, state, local, and Joint Commission requirements; and provides program leadership oversight to embedded Nutrition Services leaders in highly matrixed teams across the MultiCare System.
