We are looking for a hands-on System Development Engineer to develop mechatronics and software tools for mechanical testing of flight hardware. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Key job responsibilities • Test Design and Analysis: Analyze hardware requirements to design, develop, and maintain test automation software and data infrastructure used in satellite development and qualification. • Hardware and Software Integration: Integrate mechanical components, automation controls, electronics, sensors, and software systems to aid in the delivery of hardware test and development solutions (mechanical and mechatronics focus). • Software Architecture: Design, write, and deploy software solutions that automate test execution and the post processing of complex data to determine viability of flight hardware. Build modular systems that enable faster deployments and more robust operation. • Design for Reliability: Build production test systems that run consistently and handle errors gracefully. Push testing earlier in the process and chase down root cause of problems to prevent recurring issues. • Colla
