SPFT is looking for a highly motivated System Development Engineer to help build Amazon's business critical financial systems and build system solutions to operate at scale. You will work on critical finance business functions for our customers around the world while meeting system availability goals and ensuring system performance with growing business needs. You will discover innovative ways to automate and scale our infrastructure as we expand globally. You will work together with multiple teams and departments, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding computing systems and for applying that understanding with an obsession for delighting customers. In this role, you will apply your skills of system design, networking, coding/scripting languages, as well as technical communication and project organization to make your impact on improving our business processes. The candidate is expected to contribute work critical initiatives, build products, lead engineers to troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and resolve computer-identified alarms, make feature enhancements, systems management, perform software deployments and migrations, host management and automate the operational tasks. They would also be responsible to develop tools and end to end automation to achieve human free operations. As an Engineer in the team, you will take part in in the architecture, design, implementation and deployment of large-scale and complex software systems. You will get to leverage your experience and expertise to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems. You will communicate your ideas effectively
