Full Job Description
## Accountabilities In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing healthcare systems, translating regulatory requirements into technical specifications, and supporting the design of interoperable solutions that align with CMS standards and modern API architectures. Gather, analyze, and translate healthcare business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions. Evaluate existing applications, integrations, and data flows to identify compliance gaps against CMS interoperability mandates and recommend remediation strategies. Design and document APIs, data models, and FHIR-based integration patterns for healthcare data exchange. Support implementation of CMS interoperability initiatives such as payer-to-payer, prior authorization, and member access programs. Collaborate with engineering teams using C#, .NET, REST APIs, and Azure-based services to deliver scalable solutions. Participate in Agile development processes and contribute using Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, and delivery. Ensure system designs align with healthcare interoperability standards, security requirements, and performance expectations. Requirements: This role requires strong experience in healthcare systems analysis, interoperability standards, and API-driven architecture within regulated healthcare environments. 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 3+ years in healthcare payer systems or interoperability domains. Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4) standards and healthcare data exchange models. Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and RESTful API development or integration. Experience working with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and API Management. Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), Git, and Agile delivery methodologies. Strong understanding of healthcare payer processes, including claims, eligibility, and prior authorization workflows.
