What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of experience, or a PhD. and 1 year of or 9+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered., Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs (only if needed), Applicants must have an active in-scope U. S. Government issued Secret security clearance at the time of application and is required to with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance., Active CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT/IAM II certification, Experience with being a systems administrator in a Linux/Red Hat environment

Nice to Have

Working knowledge of Linux (RH9) and basic security concepts, Working knowledge of Containerization/ Virtualization (Kubernetes, Docker), Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins), Embedded equipment familiarity is a plus!, Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and associated family of documents, Familiarity with DISA STIGSenchmarks and SCAP Compliance Checker, Working Knowledge and ability to configure Tenable Security Center/Nessus, Familiarity with Host-Based Security System (HBSS)/Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), Exposure to Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Familiarity with Identity/Authentication management tools and concepts

What You'll Do.

Managing a lab of hardware and software

Ensure effective management of the IT infrastructure

Maintaining compliance with security policies and regulations

Operating System Account Management

Virtual Lab Management (vLab vDC Management)

Monitoring and Reviewing Systems

Firmware Upgrades and Cybersecurity awareness

Working in Linux/Red Hat 9 environments

Developing security plans for specific networks

Managing the auditing of the equipment on those networks

Maintaining software & hardware compliance to the latest requirements including logging

ant-virus and patching activities

Liaison between supply chain

and security to bring in new hardware and software that is compliant to all policies
