MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Employer: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC Offered Position: System Admin/Engr III Job Location: Austin, Texas Job Number: AMZ9674896 Position Responsibilities: Identify complex, ambiguous challenges and develop IT system solutions supporting Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and Amazon Controls System (ACS) in AWS data centers. Architect and implement solutions for full lifecycle support for the AWS Controls environment, ensuring scalable, secure deployment and integration of large scale infrastructure while maintaining high availability standards. Provide automated systems-level solution across multiple infrastructure domains, global scale process improvement, and optimization for integrating systems, devices and instrumentation with cloud technologies. Develop and extend functionality to support evolving processes across multiple technical domains, leveraging AWS cloud applications to automate manual workflows at scale, collaborating globally with multiple cross-functional teams to enhance global IT systems and processes across AWS data centers. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience in the following skills: (1) Linux or Windows system administration, including troubleshooting and automation; (2) scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python; and (3) developing optimized and automated solutions using cloud technologies. Must have two years of experience in the following skill: (4) networking fundamentals, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 architecture.
