Following its recent acquisition by United Infrastructure, Simkiss is entering an exciting new phase of growth, strengthening its technical capabilities and expanding its ability to deliver increasingly complex, end-to-end solutions across critical national infrastructure projects. * To assist the installation supervisor on switchgear installations, off-loading, installing busbars, bus wiring, and testing the switchgear panels/ system * Test and inspect the quality of all switchgear assembly and its components. * Integrate/assemble and modify switchgear assemblies and supervise others doing this activity. * Repair switchgear when required. * Function test switchgear. * Internal wiring, integration and testing duties when required * Ensure quality standards are met. * Comply with all site rules, PPE requirements and H&S regulations. ## Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Experience: * 3 years’ experience in a similar position * strong proven track record in electrical engineering * Excellent Engineering skills and Testing experience. * Strong Communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. * Pro-active & attention to detail essential. * Good computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook * Driving Licence Desirable Qualifications/Experience: * 5 years’ experience in a similar position * Excellent communication skills * Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels * Ability to tra
