What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School or GED Equivalent or 1 year related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience, visual acuity adequate to perform position duties, ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
What You'll Do.
Process inbound and outbound calls
Direct the general public
Make overhead announcements
Monitor video surveillance
Monitor critical alarms
Process emergency medical codes
Handle large amounts of inbound and outbound calls
Identify customer needs
and provide solutions
Follow communication scripts for various call scenarios
Change from one task to another
Support customer satisfaction and maintain quality
Communicate with patience and understanding
Remain positive and professional
and professionally utilizing overhead paging system
Inform appropriate resource of any trouble lines
Maintain a working knowledge of hospital switchboard
and associated programs
Assist with departmental operations
