Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Technical Engineering Manager to lead two critical engineering initiatives within the SolarWinds Observability Self‐Hosted product: Software Security Group (SSG) UI Platform Engineering This role is ideal for a former or hands-on software engineer with strong technical background (leadership experience is a benefit), and a passion for agentic development, AI‐assisted SDLC, and modern engineering practices. You will partner closely with product teams, engineering leadership, and security leadership (including the CISO) to advance our product security posture and accelerate UI modernisation. Key Responsibilities Software Security Group (SSG) Leadership Lead and evolve a team of experienced security engineers focused on product security and vulnerability management Ensure adherence to vulnerability management policies and ownership of key security KPIs, including Time to Review (TTR) and Time to Address (TTA) Oversee review and triage of internally and externally reported vulnerabilities Drive proof‐of‐concept exploit validation, remediation investigation, and prioritiza
