What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate sustainability (e.g. climate, energy, circularity, workforce or governance topics), Master’s degree in e. g. Business, Economics, Law, Engineering or Environmental Sciences, Fluent in English

Nice to Have

Experience in construction or infrastructure is a asset, International exposure is a plus, good knowledge of Dutch and/or French

What You'll Do.

Contribute to the development and continuous refinement of BESIX Group’s sustainability strategy

Monitor market trends

regulatory developments and emerging risks & opportunities

Help design and implement KPIs

dashboards and reporting frameworks to track progress and support decision-making

Support the integration of sustainability into governance

risk management and strategic decision-making processes

Drive cultural change by promoting sustainability across all levels of the organisation

Develop and roll out training initiatives for executives and operational teams

Build and support a global internal sustainability network

Contribute to incentive frameworks and performance management systems linked to sustainability objectives

Play a key role in achieving and maintaining full compliance with CSRD requirements (incl. double materiality

data governance and reporting)

Ensure alignment with key frameworks such as ESRS and EU Taxonomy

Coordinate with business units and corporate functions to ensure consistent implementation across the Group

Collaborate with Legal

Compliance and ICT on data governance

Maintain relationships with auditors

Represent the Group in relevant external forums and partnerships
