The Sustainability Data Specialist leads Dematic’s sustainability data strategy, owning the end-to-end governance, analysis, and reporting of sustainability information in partnership with KION. This role transforms complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives that support decision-making and clearly demonstrate Dematic’s sustainability impact. Detailed Role Summary: As the Sustainability Data Sr Specialist, you will serve as Dematic’s go-to expert for sustainability data and analytics, taking full ownership of how we capture, analyze, and leverage sustainability information. This advanced individual contributor role goes beyond number-crunching – it combines technical data management with strategic influence. You will work with KION on end-to-end sustainability data structure (tools and cadence) and define the Dematic processes (governance, training, analysis, and reporting) with the goal of ensuring data-driven insights are at the heart of decision-making. A key part of your mission is to translate complex data into clear stories, for example: quantifying the environmental impact of our operations and projects, and crafting compelling, data-backed messages that demonstrate Dematic’s sustainability progress to both internal teams and customers.
