Hana Group UK are recruiting a Part time Sushi Chef to come and support our teams in our Sushi Gourmet – Monk Cross - Sainsbury’s, Jockey Lane, Huntington, York, YO32 9LG and Mai Sushi – York Vangarde Retail Park, Mark’s and Spencer Food Hall Customer Service, UNIT A VANGARDE RETAIL PARK, Monk's Cross, York, YO32 9AE As our people are our most important asset, and we are seeking the right someone to join our family. If you are: * Enthusiastic, energetic with the ability to demonstrate initiative * Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude * Always happy to help customers with a smile, * Able to work as part of a team or on your own whilst maintaining high standards at all times, * Excited to produce amazing high quality and sustainable food products Able to: * Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations * Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves * Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning * Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift * Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift. * Be a skilled multitasker who has experience of placing weekly orders, daily stock rotation and producing monthly stock take. * An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days * Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered And have: * Ready to work in a fast-paced environment
