About the Hazard Mitigation: The primary mission of the Hazard Mitigation Section is to manage and implement efficient and effective disaster recovery programs as authorized under NC General Statute 166A and other relevant legislation. About the Position: This position will perform all aspects of geodetic surveying including public trust lands research, county and state boundary surveys, research, and analysis and processing of survey data. This position assists in installing antenna mounts on designated structures along with the GPS receivers and accompanying hardware and performs maintenance of the Continously Operating Reference Station (CORS), visiting the CORS sites to assist in troubleshooting when problems arise and assist with system upgrades.
