Must Have
Accredited surgical technologist training program, Current credential as a certified surgical technologist, Certification in Surgical Technology, Knowledge of instrumentations, Ability to provide care appropriate to patient age
Nice to Have
LPN licensure (for grandfathered employees), Experience with Epic, Experience with Cerner, Experience with Meditech, Experience with Allscripts, Experience with McKesson, Experience with athenahealth, Experience with PACS, Experience with LIS, Experience with RIS

Establish and maintain a sterile field
Assure team maintains sterile environment
Correctly and safely pass instruments
Participate in surgical counts
Communicate with surgeons and staff
Follow policies and regulatory standards
Participate in nursing process
Participate in unit educational activities

Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team; Communicates with surgeons, gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, other necessary staff and patients
