HS Diploma or GED, Graduate of accredited surgical technology program, Military training as scrub tech, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, 1 year of recent relevant experience

Surgical Technician Certification (TS-C, CST, or NRST) for incentive

What You'll Do.

Prepare sterile field for surgical operations

Setup sterile instruments

Assist surgeons in gowning and gloving

Drape patients for surgery

Pass instruments and supplies to surgical team

Hold retractors during operations

Anticipate surgeons' needs during surgery

Distribute department supplies

Perform equipment maintenance

Perform equipment testing

Perform equipment setup

Adhere to regulations

Ensure privacy and safety

Deliver optimal patient care

Perform specific procedures

Orient other staff to department
