2-3 years of experience in customer facing roles within surgical environment or other industries, understanding of ophthalmic procedures, product technology, and selling to the medical profession, Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting and team building, performance management, desire and ability to learn technical knowledge, Understanding of the MTAA code of practice, full Australian work rights

We offer the most complete line of ophthalmic surgical devices, as well as a differentiated consumer eye care, contact lens, contact lens care and consumer eye care products for dry eye and allergy, to help patients see, look and feel their best. We are looking for a talented individual to join our surgical sales team to grow the Alcon Surgical IOL portfolio in your region. Responsibilities: As an IOL Manager – Surgical Sales you will be supporting surgical facilities, and you will be trusted to oversee the overall IOL portfolio, showcasing expertise in our products’ benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products by providing high technical consultancy in assigned accounts. You will work with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right customer solutions. In this role, a typical day can include: -Driving total IOL revenue and market share in the territory -Accelerating PCIOL (Presbyopia Correcting IOLs) penetration -Facilitating the Accelerator program in selected accounts -Managing tender requirements working with internal teams -Working with Customer Operations on consignment, leveraging MyAlcon360 -Developing new business with customers to achieve sales targets. -Maintaining and optimizing existing relationships and managing business with existing key customers. -Providing feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management. -Maintaining and upholding an excellent company image. Competencies: •Deep knowledge of all IOLs. Ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products.
