What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 1-2 years of experience as surgical assistant, Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, Understanding of health
Nice to Have
specialty is preferred
What You'll Do.
ensure excellent patient service
lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist’s shoulders
ensuring that the patients' needs
and questions are answered
help keep the patient relaxed and comfortable during their visit
Prepare the surgical area
and equipment before each procedure
Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required
Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized
Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety
Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients
Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager
facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed
