Job Summary You can make a difference in patients' lives as a Support Services Technician with Corewell Health. Essential Functions * Refer to the job description of the role being performed, inlcuding using the associated technology. * Communicates effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, patients/residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care for for our patients/residents. This position is part of the patient care team and will create a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment. * Greets, communicates with and assists visitors, staff and/or patients in navigating through the hospital to reach their destination. * Completes special projects as assigned, with specific direction. Qualifications * Required High School Diploma or equivalent * 1 year of relevant experience Customer service and/or other related experience Required * CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Patient Transport 90 Days preferred Or * CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Patient Transport 90 Days preferred * CRT-Accredited Food Handler - ANSI National Accreditation Board ANSI National Accreditation Board 90 Days preferred And * CRT-Accredited Food Allergy Certificate - ANSI National Accreditation Board ANSI National Accreditation Board 90 Days preferred Or * CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager, CFP - ANSI National Accreditation Board ANSI National Accreditation Board 90 Days preferred Physical Demands * Pallet to Waist (6" from floor) > 5 lbs: Occasionally up to 50 lbs * Waist to Waist > 5 lbs: Occasionally up to 50 lbs * Waist
