Must Have
Technical support, DBA, SRE, or database engineering role, On-call and SLA-driven environments experience, Technical breadth and depth, ClickHouse DBMS or similar, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, Distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, System or Network Administration, Big data and analytics platforms, Operating ClickHouse or other SQL databases in production, Write and optimize complex SQL, Solid Linux fundamentals, Debugging production systems, Working knowledge of distributed database internals, Operational realities of running databases at scale, Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, Excellent written and verbal communication in Chinese (Mandarin), Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Nice to Have
Direct production experience operating ClickHouse clusters at scale, Scripting experience with Shell or Python, Ability to read and understand C++ code, Experience with Kubernetes, Experience with Terraform, Experience with infrastructure-as-code, Familiarity with streaming and data pipeline tools, Familiarity with modern observability stacks, Prior experience supporting strategic accounts, Prior experience supporting large internet companies, Prior experience supporting financial services customers in Greater China, Open-source contributions, Conference talks, Community involvement around ClickHouse or adjacent projects
