Knowledge of measuring devices and test equipment, Must be able to read blueprints, Must have a working knowledge of production processes and product requirements, Good communication skills, both written and verbal, Contributes to a team-oriented environment by building working relationships and supporting collective success, Willing to cross-train to support different products as needed, Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role, A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach, Responsible and trustworthy, Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems, Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies, Working knowledge of MS Office, Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs

Nice to Have

Certification of quality control is a advantage (ISO 9000 etc. )

What You'll Do.

Reviewing incoming products and materials

Performing first article inspections

Reviewing nonconforming parts

Performing inspections

Keeping a record of defects

Providing input to Quality

Providing feedback on processes and procedures

Approve or reject raw materials

Record supplier performance

Perform incoming inspections

Provide feedback to management

Set and use precision instruments

Work from inspection checklists

Keep detailed inspection records

and optimize CMM inspection routines

Lead first article inspections

Ensure compliance with standards

Set up parts and fixtures for CMM measurement

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

Verify part conformance

Review and validate inspection results

Identify and document non-conformance

Notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection

Support basic troubleshooting of CMM programs

Support troubleshooting of probing issues

Lead Measurement System Analysis

Lead Gage R&R activities

Follow established quality procedures

Follow inspection plans

Troubleshoot measurement issues

Troubleshoot program errors

Troubleshoot variation sources

Analyze inspection data

Support root cause and corrective action activities

Collaborate with engineering on design-for-measurement
