What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High degree of understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes, Proven Supply Planning Experience within FMCG, IT literate with spreadsheet knowledge e. g. Excel, Highly numerate and analytical, Ability to work independently and manage own workload, work under own initiative, Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, Ability to prioritise workload & cope with pressure & a fast paced environment, Ability to negotiate and influence at a Senior level
Nice to Have
Proven experience of working for FMCG / retail organisation, ideally with experience of manufacturing environment, Understanding of the Sales & Operational Planning Processes, Understanding of factory production processes and capabilities, High degree of understanding of the business drivers and factors that impact on related KPIs, Understanding and appreciation of master data
What You'll Do.
Manage the factory detailed capacity plan
Manage master production schedule
Generate a 12 wk detailed capacity plan
Convert the next 2 weeks into factory production schedule
Represent the team in morning factory reviews
Review daily stock levels
Attend the medium-term planning meeting
Deliver company inventory targets
Use inventory analytics data
Identify non-value add SKUs
Minimising raw material waste
Control & maintain master data
Own sections of the planning document
Review / update operating principles
Visit sites to collaborate
Take on additional project work
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Working closely with Demand Planning; Working closely with Material Requirements Planning; Working closely with customer services; Working closely with the factory operational team; Regular liaison with other areas of the business; Collaborate & enhance relationships
