Must Have
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, 3–5 years of experience in logistics, international shipping, or supply chain operations, Working knowledge of customs documentation, Basic customs procedures knowledge, Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, Experience coordinating with customs brokers, Solid Excel skills, Solid ERP skills, Comfort working with shipment and cost data, Clear written communication skills, Clear verbal communication skills, Ability to work with overseas vendors, Ability to work with external partners across various time zones
Nice to Have
University degree preferred, Imports into Canada experience preferred, Imports into U.S. experience preferred, Canadian customs designation an asset, Trade designation an asset, Experience with CBSA processes an asset, Experience with CARM processes an asset

Prepare commercial invoices
Review commercial invoices
Maintain commercial invoices
Prepare packing lists
Maintain packing lists
Validate data for customs brokers
Resolve data discrepancies
Coordinate with customs brokers on entries
Coordinate with customs brokers on release status
Coordinate with customs brokers on holds
Coordinate with customs brokers on inspections
Ensure timely customs clearance
Maintain digital records of customs documentation
Maintain digital records of customs entries
Maintain digital records of customs charges
Serve as operational contact for freight forwarders
Serve as operational contact for customs brokers
Provide shipment information to brokers
Provide shipment documentation to brokers
Monitor broker performance
Escalate service issues
Escalate compliance issues
Review brokerage invoices
Reconcile brokerage invoices
Review freight invoices
Reconcile freight invoices
