What You'll Do.
Controlling materials
and inventory daily to ensure uninterrupted production.
Calculating required raw material and component quantities based on production plans and sales forecasts.
Creating and sharing weekly forecasts using SAP with suppliers.
Confirming supplier production status and adjusting plans.
Developing countermeasures for anticipated material shortages.
Daily confirmation of shipment and arrival status of ordered materials.
Coordinating with logistics companies to confirm shipment status and arrival times.
Considering and improving efficient delivery methods in cooperation with suppliers.
Setting and monitoring appropriate inventory levels daily.
Implementing improvement activities to reduce inventory.
Proposing improvements based on supplier delivery performance.
Supporting inventory count operations to maintain accuracy.
Early detection and initial response to issues like material shortages and logistics delays.
Escalating issues with significant impact to sales and management.
Participating in logistics and purchasing meetings and following up on decisions.
Deploying Valeo Supply Chain standards
Ensuring supply chain activities support New Project Introduction or Engineering Change.
Validating supply chain specifications during all Project Phases.
Supporting project and purchasing teams with optimal solutions.
Performing and updating Logistics FMEA for new components.
Defining components and finished goods’ flows and their storage.
Supporting Planning and Scheduling teams during Start Of Production.
Responsibility for project supply chain issues until phase 4.
Leading continuous improvement actions in all supply chain activities.
