Must Have

8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Program Management, Material Program Management, Commodity Management, Strategic Sourcing, or related hardware supply chain roles, Experience supporting complex hardware products through NPI and production ramps, understanding of hardware supply chains, material planning, and supplier operations, Experience managing constrained supply environments and long lead-time commodities, Experience working with ODMs, CMs, and global supplier ecosystems, analytical, program management, and executive communication skills, Ability to drive cross-functional alignment in ambiguous and fast-moving environments

Nice to Have

About the Team OpenAI’s Hardware organization develops silicon and system-level solutions designed for the unique demands of advanced AI workloads. The team is responsible for building the next generation of AI-native silicon while working closely with software and research partners to co-design hardware tightly integrated with AI models. In addition to delivering production-grade silicon for OpenAI’s supercomputing infrastructure, the team also creates custom design tools and methodologies that accelerate innovation and enable hardware optimized specifically for AI. About the Role As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you will own material readiness and supply chain execution for critical hardware programs spanning custom silicon, systems, memory, storage, networking, and rack infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Planning, Quality, and external suppliers to develop and execute scalable supply strategies that support aggressive product development and deployment timelines.
