What You'll Do.
Lead a team of Material Planners
Manage all aspects of material support for designated
Coordinate efforts with Manufacturing
Ensure MRP utilization to load forecasts
Determine and implement inventory strategies
Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing team to expedite
Establish inventory strategies for raw material and finished
Ensure timely purchase order placement and hygiene
Align incoming material to support production and demand
Develop quarterly production plans
Communicate production requirements to Manufacturing teams
Work cross-functionally with Strategic Sourcing
Ensure alignment on sales demand requirements and material
Develop backorder mitigation plans
Manage communication and expectations with Sales Ops when
Own critical information such as forecasts
Verify MRP inputs (forecasts
minimum & maximum inventory
Verify MRP outputs (planned purchase orders
Become subject matter expert for designated product family
