Supply Chain Data Analyst **Description -** **What a Supply Chain Data Analyst does at HP:** * Work closely with stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers. * Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations, with reporting components from multiple data sources. * Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution. * Develop and maintain databases, and build solution that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets. * Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization. * Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships. **Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:** * First level university degree or equivalent experience. * Typically 1-4 years of experience in supply chain function or data analytics * Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools. * Strong teamwork and project management skill. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills. * Strong SQL or Python programming skills, with aptitude for learning other skills, such as html. * Good understanding of HP business units and HP business strategy. **Disclaimer** This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
