Must Have
Bachelors Degree, 3+ years experience in a SAP focused planning and/or data stewardship role within a GMP regulated environment, Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice to Have
Familiar with SAP system software and associated processes - particularly PP & MRP modules - within a complex supply chain, New Product introduction / External Manufacturing experience desirable, Demonstrated experience of coordination & execution of shipping, logistics, custom classifications activities domestically & internationally in adherence with Company, Regulatory & Governmental requirements desirable., Demonstrated leadership in implementing change, Demonstrated problem-solving / analytical / decision making ability, Proactively identifies and works with others to resolve issues, planning skills, Working knowledge of supply chain principles, Familiar with SAP system software and associated processes, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), Ability to work independently, Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once, Demonstrated attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in work in a fast-paced environment
What You'll Do.
ensure the reliable supply of medicines through effective and efficient supply chain processes
provide end to end oversight of products within the API portfolio supporting either Large Molecule
Peptides or Small Molecule operations
function as a key tactical partner to each of the Internal Process Teams (IPTs) and Joint Process Teams (JPTs) that conduct direct oversight of our contract manufacturing partners
Provide key supply chain services to ensure reliable supply for our customers
Support forecasting and supply planning activities at contract manufacturers to ensure reliable supply
Support the tactical steps to allow the receipt of material from contract manufacturers through the shipment of materials to our drug product customers
Task may include Purchase Order generation/maintenance
related SAP transactions
the setup and use of other electronic tools such as Direct Commerce
Ensure the management of multiple nodes of the supply chain in ensuring the On Time and In Full (OTIF) delivery of materials from contract manufacturing partners
Provide customer service support for customers of API
Participate in metric generation for IPTs/JPTs
Support Inventory management best practices including inventory reconciliation & Slow moving / Obsolete inventory reporting
Manage shipment of key materials to/from our contract manufacturers
NIC (New Item code) business process owner
Provide SAP data support across all functional areas
Create/Manage all New Item codes (NIC) request on DGIM / SAP (or equivalent system) changes (local and global) impacting API
Will work with corporate data stewardship experts and internal/external partners & sites to ensure complete/accurate master data and adherence to corporate standards
Participate in execution of the necessary change control processes to ensure master data management
Create the necessary connections to corporate and site data experts
Responsible for documentation & training of NIC related topics within the API organization
Support supply chain activities associated with new product introduction
Work closely with API continuous improvement champions to ensure that defined processes exist that allow API to deliver supply chain excellence
Work closely with APIEM SC leadership teams to develop and operationalize new processes and practices
