Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree), 2+ years of related experience, Proficient in Integrated Product Development Process (IPDP)/Product Lifecycle and lean process, Demonstrated experience enforcing processes and procedures, Experience participating in audits and RCCA, Knowledge of inspection equipment, conducting basic audits, and analyzing data
Nice to Have
understanding of electrical systems and components with proven ability to interpret electrical schematics, identify potential quality issues in circuit design, and implement appropriate testing protocols to ensure product reliability and safety, Certifications: CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), IPC620, IPC610, J-STD-001S, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting, Familiarity with quality management software and tools, such as Minitab, SAP QM, or similar systems, Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control methodologies, Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques, such as 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams, Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and its application in quality inspections, Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, with an understanding of industry-specific quality requirements and standards, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, Familiarity with non-conformance reporting and corrective action processes, Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, Knowledge of advanced inspection techniques and equipment, such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and optical comparators
