What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or related field, 2–8 years of experience in supplier quality, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering, Ability to read technical drawings and specifications (GD&T), Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, APQP, PPAP, and special processes, Experience with root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality tools, Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Nice to Have
Aerospace experience, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Experience with digital quality tools (NetInspect, RAM, EtQ), data analysis skills (statistics, SPC)
What You'll Do.
Oversee suppliers' performance
Make improvements at high risk suppliers
Issue corrective action requests
Perform QMS/Product assessments
Provide daily support for quality issues
Make recommendations on quality data
Develop part / supplier specific quality issue resolution
Provide research on root cause analysis
Assist in development of corrective actions
Review products requirements and metrics
Manage supplier quality issues
Initiate part specific quality issue resolution
Develop supplier specific quality initiative strategies
