Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline, At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or process engineering, experience in supplier audits, quality systems, and process validation, Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies, Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent, Experience working with global suppliers in manufacturing or engineering environments, problem-solving capability, Ability to challenge suppliers and influence without authority, Data-driven mindset with analytical skills, communication and stakeholder management skills, High level of accountability and ownership

What You'll Do.

Develop and maintain supplier quality plans aligned with Rolls-Royce standards and regulatory requirements

Define and enforce quality expectations across assigned suppliers

Conduct supplier audits

Qualify new suppliers and re-qualify existing suppliers based on performance and risk

Ensure compliance with contractual

and internal quality standards

Lead investigations into supplier-related quality issues

Drive root cause analysis using structured methodologies

Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions with suppliers

Track supplier KPIs such as defect rates

and process capability

Hold suppliers accountable for underperformance and enforce recovery plans

Escalate critical issues where necessary

Partner with suppliers to implement process improvements and best practices

Drive cost of poor quality reduction across the supply base

Support capability development within the supplier network

Ensure supplier readiness for new product launches

Validate manufacturing processes and quality controls before production

This role is not administrative. You are expected to challenge suppliers, enforce standards, and drive measurable improvements. You will ensure suppliers consistently meet Rolls-Royce Power Systems (_mtu_) quality expectations through qualification, process validation, and ongoing performance management.
