Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, or a similar field, 5 + years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role, Knowledge in Quality Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AS9100), Proficiency with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Statistical Process Techniques, Failure Analysis, and Process Validation, Ability to multi-task and drive critical issues simultaneously, Advanced MS Office and related products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio), Process Development, Data Analytics, Structured Problem Solving, History of Quality, Design/Process FMEAs & Control Plans, Process Capability, GR&R, MSA, Product Parts Approval Process (PPAPs), and Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R)

Identifying opportunities for improvement of quality procedures

Driving to improve product uniformity while eliminating/minimizing non-conformances

Leading the development of inspection and test methodologies

Utilizing data sources to improve customer quality

Resolving top supplier issues

Placing underperforming suppliers on improvement plans and establishing metrics

Assuring corrective and preventive actions are taken and assessing effectiveness
