What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field, 2+ years of supply chain experience, 2+ years of program or project management experience, Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements, Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership, 5+ years of supplier quality program and audit management, Experience of working in Quality assurance
Nice to Have
Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field, 2+ years of driving process improvements experience, Six sigma/Lean skills
What You'll Do.
Lead implementation of supplier qualification program
Ensure suppliers meet AMZL requirement
Perform on-site supplier visits for qualification validation
Work with Engineering team to define process parameters
Ensure supplier process capability is effective
Manage root cause analysis and corrective actions process
Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans
Create corrective action plans to address process failures
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
and improve supplier performance reporting systems
Monitor supplier performance metrics
Analyze supplier data and trends
Identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement supplier risk management strategies
Monitor supplier certifications
Maintain records of compliance
Support new product launches
Ensure suppliers are capable of delivering to quality
Review supplier manufacturing processes
Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement
Collaborate with suppliers on value enhancement opportunities
Manage development and refinement of Design and Process
Support Purchasing with supplier approval process
Assess manufacturing/technology capabilities
Safety and Environmental risk
Investigate and support resolution of supplier quality-related SIV
Contribute to creation and implementation of best practice
Contribute to creation and implementation of best practice
Contribute to creation and implementation of best practice
Contribute to creation and implementation of best practice
Contribute to creation and implementation of best practice
Aid and improve operational performance
