Identifying and developing secondary or alternate suppliers
Assisting in the development and execution of supplier project plans
Proactively communicating order status and relevant updates
Collecting and analyzing supplier performance data
and escalating potential supplier risks or operational issues
Analyzing data to identify trends
and opportunities for supply chain improvements
Organizing and maintaining supplier and part trade compliance data within ERP systems

And when we watch our satellites launch, we know each one of us made it happen. **_Job Summary:_** The **Supplier Operations Specialist** is responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient, reliable supply base that supports the company’s production and operational needs. This role manages supplier selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring, while maintaining the company’s Approved Supplier List (ASL) in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will leverage strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support supplier operations, mitigate risk, and ensure procurement activities meet program requirements for schedule, cost, and quality. This position is fully onsite at our office in El Segundo, California. This position’s internal job title is Supplier Base Management Specialist.
