Canadian Helicopters is a helicopter transportation service, maintenance support and flight training company. In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is Canada's largest helicopter operator with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of over 100 single and multi-engine aircraft. We currently have a career opportunity for a Supervisory Base Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Iqaluit, NU. The Supervisory AME will be reporting to the Chief Engineer and duties include: * Perform Aircraft maintenance. * Coordinate and manage all aircraft and base maintenance activities in conjunction with the Base Manager to ensure that maintenance is accomplished efficiently. * Develop work schedules for maintenance personnel when needed to support aircraft flying operations as effectively as possible. * Ensure that maintenance activities at the base are performed in accordance with the duties and responsibilities outlined in the Company’s Maintenance Control and Policy Manual. * Ensure the base maintenance facilities are maintained cleaned and organized. ## Qualifications * Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 or M2 AME Licence with Bell 212/412 ACA. * Minimum of 3 years of Bell 212/412 experience is preferred. * Must be able to obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance. * Based in Iqaluit but will be required to travel with the aircraft from time to time. * Must hold the authorization to work in Canada. (This position is not available for sponsorship). * Demonstrate excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and leadership skills. * Organized and self-starter. * Be customer focused and a team player. ## Additional Information Location: Iqaluit, NU Status: Permanent or Contractual, full-time (Rotation: 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off).
