SUPERVISOR, SECURITY The supervisor will effectively oversee the daily management of the site security team in order to keep the facility safe, secure, and operational. In the absence of the security manager – the supervisor will handle administrative duties and attend meetings as needed. They will facilitate the duties of security officers and ensure security requirements are being met. Additionally, they will work with vendors and internal staff to ensure all security equipment is operational. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor all security systems to include access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and other electronic measures and become familiar with common trouble shooting measures Develop and maintain positive relations with company stakeholders and external partners Adapt procedures and practices to maintain an appropriate security posture in a high profile, fast paced industrial environment Train employees in emergency response measures, develop security procedures, and ensure compliance by security staff Communicate effectively to a wide audience in a crisis or high stress environment Maintain security compliance and site access requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent certificate 6+ years of experience in the US military, sworn law enforcement, overseas contracting, or advanced corporate security realm 3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree Experience with Department of Homeland Security C-FATS (Chemical Facility Anti-terrorism Standards) and NISPOM (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual) Industry certifications; CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Securi
