Onsite: 90%, Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings, Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms, Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications, Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts, Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs, Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs, Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools, Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer, Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving, Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor, Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice, Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces, Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site, US Person under ITAR definition (U. S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum five (5) years of aviation or production experience, Must be able to read, write, and speak English, Knowledge of basic hand tools and application of aviation techniques used in aircraft manufacturing, This position makes safety sensitive decisions on a daily basis, It also will make decisions that affect delivery and quality of aircraft

Nice to Have

Current A&P license preferred but NOT required

What You'll Do.

Supervise technicians of various skill sets within assigned area

Ensure technicians have tools

Work in SAP environment including parts requirements and timecards

Make sure employees are in compliance with all OSHA

safety and environmental regulations

Organize tasks in order to accomplish schedule goals

Delegate work to Lead and technicians as required

Coordinating with all support functions to ensure aircraft completion

Actively participate in Quality Gates in areas of responsibility

Perform various types of training when required

Identify improvement areas and implement plan

Maintain and create Microsoft documents and use email

Monitor production hours in areas of responsibility

Ensure proper time charging

Provide aircraft status as required

Estimate work hours by task as required

Perform employee evaluations and corrective actions

Perform root cause analysis

Perform other supervisory and management functions as required

Examine and understanding engineering data and work orders
