Must Have
Minimum of one (1) year in a meat industry prior supervisory experience, Supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities, Basic computer skills
Nice to Have
Education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses, Meat industry prior supervisory experience
What You'll Do.
Check daily production orders
Ensure fulfillment of customer orders
Ensure every position is filled before start-up
Oversee Team Member morning exercises
Oversee job rotation to facilitate ergonomics
Ensure all machinery is performing to the highest
Ensure all workstations have passed USDA Inspection
Conduct monthly safety meetings
Ensure accurate shipments
Ensure rotation of inventory
Ensure proper coding of products
Communicate company benefits and compensation policies
Provide encouragement to Team Members
Perform human relations functions
Counsel Team Members on personal and professional problems
Oversee various processing operations
Work with other supervisors in solving problems
Keep records of reworked or returned product
Provide continuous education on the importance of quality
Perform other responsibilities as the need arises
