Production output vs. schedule attainment; Scrap and rework rates; First-pass yield; Safety incidents and near-misses; On-time completion of production orders; Labor efficiency per shift

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods across the plant, Ability to lift up to [30–50 lbs] as needed, Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, dust, and noise, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM schedule, occasional overtime or weekend support, High interaction with hourly workforce and hands-on floor presence required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience in a process-driven environment, Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Nice to Have
Associate’s degree or higher, Experience in refractory, casting, ceramics, or similar processes
What You'll Do.
Oversee all production processes
Ensure execution of daily production schedules
Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment downtime
Ensure in-process inspections and final quality checks
Address non-conforming product
Initiate containment and support corrective actions
Maintain proper traceability and production records
and hold accountable a team
Conduct start-of-shift and end-of-shift meetings
Train employees on standard work
Enforce all plant safety rules
Ensure safe handling of raw materials
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Promote a safety culture and housekeeping standards
Monitor key process variables
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
Support Lean initiatives
Drive improvements in yield
Ensure proper staging of materials
Communicate shift performance
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment downtime; Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Shipping to ensure product flow; Communicate shift performance, issues, and priorities during shift handoff
