What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Six (6) years of experience utilizing/maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and/or process control equipment, Two (2) years lead work/supervisory responsibilities, Valid driver's license with good driving record
Nice to Have
An associate degree in any field plus four (4) years of the required experience including two (2) years of lead work/supervisory responsibilities, A bachelor's degree in a non-specified field plus four (4) years of the required experience including (2) years of lead work/supervisory responsibilities, A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, electrical or electronic technology field plus two (2) years of the required experience including two (2) years of lead work/supervisory responsibilities
What You'll Do.
Oversee process control maintenance
Supervise staff and oversee installation
Assign corrective maintenance work orders
Ensure Technicians complete work on schedule
and deliver performance evaluations
Manage service contracts
Participate in development of long range plans
Direct and coordinate work through leaders
and develop preventative maintenance activities
Ensure proper documentation of time
Participate in construction meetings
Represent SCADA or Electronic viewpoints
and translate technical drawings
Write process documentation
Ensure work is conducted safely
and coordinate maintenance activities
Participate in staff and out-of-service meetings
Provide on sight inspection
Respond to malfunctions
Assess processes and instrument functionality
Hear and resolve complaints or grievances
Implement methods to improve production
Oversee inspection of pump stations
Oversee inspection of levee pumps
Oversee inspection of process systems
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate maintenance activities with contractors, vendors, and other trades; Coordinate maintenance activities with other city departments; Participate in discussions and decisions during construction meetings; Represent SCADA or Electronic viewpoints during design meetings and reviews; Participate in and conduct various staff and out-of-service meetings; Provide support for techs
