What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma, 5+ years industrial maintenance planning and scheduling experience in an FDA regulated industry, Previous experience in maintenance leadership in an FDA regulated industry, Understanding of CMMS systems (GMARS)
Nice to Have
Previous supervisory/leadership experience, Regulated GMP manufacturing experience, Manufacturing, industrial maintenance or building maintenance knowledge, Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with multiple levels within the organization, Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and feedback, Demonstrated ability to prioritize, set objectives and meet targets, Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service, Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, Demonstrated ability in problem solving
What You'll Do.
Oversee maintenance planning and craft scheduling
Ensure company assets are managed in compliance with
Oversee planning and scheduling of all non-emergency maintenance
Lead a team of maintenance planners and schedulers
Foster a culture of safety
technical expertise in
Work closely with operations departments to determine equipment
Ensure alignment of maintenance planning programs and initiatives
Support the delivery of novel medicines for clinical
Develop initial processes and requirements for the planning
Set expectations for a positive & proactive safety
Ensure team members are knowledgeable and compliant regarding
Initiate and lead accident
near miss reviews and
Ensure proper housekeeping procedures are maintained
Ensure team's compliance and meeting quality standards
Ensure regulatory based PM’s are completed on schedule
Manage daily activities of the planning and scheduling
Schedule all maintenance
Maintain and monitor backlog to prevent delinquent PM’s
Verify availability of parts
Order parts and materials for planned jobs
Maintain liaison and coordination between customers and maintenance
Recruit and develop maintenance planning and scheduling staff

The first-ever facility of its kind, combining research and manufacturing in a single location, the Medicine Foundry will allow Lilly to further develop innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and increase capacity for clinical trial medicines, while also reducing costs and environmental impact. The Planning & Scheduling Supervisor is a key leader responsible for overseeing all maintenance planning and craft scheduling to ensure the company’s assets are managed in compliance with cGMP and other applicable standards. This role oversees the planning and scheduling of all non-emergency maintenance. The Planning & Scheduling Supervisor leads a team of maintenance planners and schedulers by fostering a culture of safety, technical expertise in CMMS (GMARS), and innovation. This role will work closely with operations departments to determine equipment availability for maintenance scheduling. In addition, this role ensures alignment of maintenance planning programs and initiatives with organizational goals for safety, quality, and efficiency, directly supporting the delivery of novel medicines for clinical trials within The Medicine Foundry.
