# _**Job Description​**_ **The Opportunity:** Saint Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place is seeking a Supervisor - Nutrition Services. Your experience and expertise in Food Services will allow you to successfully serve a diverse population of customers. Our priority is patient care in that we interact with patients daily and have the opportunity to bring something positive to their day to ensure Saint Luke’s is “The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care.” We provide our employees with the opportunity to grow in the health system, to move into leadership roles within the department or further their careers in new directions still within the health system. **Shift Details:** * Salaried Full-time position * Weekends required * Rotating holidays **The Work:** * Responsible for all room service operations that provide products and services to patients. * Utilizes several software programs related to patient care, meal ordering, call center operations, and employee management. * Works closely with other facilities in the system to ensure standardized approaches are utilized for call center operations. * Ensures menus and food products comply with federal state local regulations as well as doctors diet restrictions. * Assists with the menu development to ensure quality service and all nutritional standards are met. * Provides leadership training and direction to the entire Patient Services team, this includes production and utility in the absence of their direct supervisors. * Provides excellent customer service with the ability to provide service recovery as needed. * Ensures all safety and sanitation requirements are met. * Delegates and directs duties to supporting staff. * Assists in hiring staff, manages employees to set standards, trains, and coaches for improvement. * Responsible for staff schedules and ensures labor hours and assignments are appropriate for volume needs. * Responsible for filling in for staff shortages as needed. * Educates team and adheres to
